Arizona’s story wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging the strong women leaders leaving their mark on our state’s history. Arizona women broke barriers and have never accepted the status quo. We’ve elected more female governors than any other state in the country, in 1998 we elected five women to serve in the state’s five highest offices, and we were home to the Supreme Court’s first female justice – Sandra Day O’Connor.
I was honored to be asked to participate in a video celebrating the special role women continue to play in Arizona’s story. I wanted to take a minute to share that video with you.
